Veteran status in BC" cause of Heroes

I have installed Heroes, mostly for the purpose of getting veterans status. To me it seems i have done everthign correct, but it still doesnt work. I dont get my M1, and now that it have started to work that sucks badly, i want that star !!

Make sure you create a BFH charactar on the same account as the one you play BC2 with. Then launch the game and play 1 full round.

That will get your veteran rank up with +1, combined with BC2 it is enough for the M1 Garand.

I thought i had done that. i have two heroes, one lvl 5 and one lvl 6. soo i should be eligdable ?

maybe make a new one ??

and when i tried to play a round or two tnight the game crashed

Many says i should contacvt support about this, but nobody have told me where or how (yes i am dum when it comes to stuff likes this)

I have same problem I have two gunners at BFH, but on the BC2 site it only detects BC2

it says:

The Battlefield Veteran program will automatically detect if you have a Heroes soldier on this account. The Heroes medal will be lit up if it is detected.

If it is not detected, you may have logged in with a different EA account than the one you play Heroes with. All your Battlefield games need to be linked to a single EA account.

But don't fret! Getting Heroes added is FREE and easy to do. Just sign up to Heroes with this account, create a soldier and play a few rounds online. Come back to this site and Heroes should be detected.

You can all take out of your mind that the problem is yourself.
The problem is at EA's side.

I tried to get veteran status aswell, and i did as i was supposed to but it did not give me the status.

Alright, so i will explain how to get it anyway, i take BFH as example:

-Make sure you use the same email on Battlefield Heroes(or whatever BF game) as you use on Bad Company 2.
-After registering on BFH with the same email as BC2, go to the veteran status page of BC2.
(Veteran status page (http://www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com/veteran))
-Refresh this page, and see if it worked.
-If it did not work, you go here: EA SUPPORT ÂÂ*CHAT (http://support.ea.com/chat)
-Here you wait in the queue till a support employee opens a chat with you.
-Once you are in a chat with an EA support employee, you tell him something similar like this:

'Hi, i have an issue.
I am trying to get veteran status on Battlefield Bad Company 2, however i have problems doing so.
I use the same email as on Battlefield Heroes, however the veteran status page does not show Battlefield Heroes as my game.'

He will then ask you for some information about your EA account, and he will add the game to your games list.
This will take some minutes, and when he is done he will ask you to refresh your page.
If everything went right, you now have veteran status.

High veteran status creates high expectations. Sometimes you see a level 3 or higher vetaran and he plays like shit. Then I start to laugh and think: you didn't learn much in your previous games.

Though I got level 1 for the Garand myself, I don't understand why people make a big deal about it and putting so much effort in it, to get this old piece of junk. Ok, it's fun but some people are really desperate if they don't get it.

I got the status from a Heroes account, a game I never played once. ÂÂ*8)

In BC2 Vietnam, also new weapons are introduced. They have to be on bronze to. So we have some work to do in the winter.
