I can tell you the maps havent changed as much as he suggested if you look at this video, it only looks a bit wider but maybe thats just because its in widescreem ÂÂ*:lol:

yep, even battlefield heroes has a clanscene, and heroes is more for the casual gamers. From what ive seen assault is going to be a bit more hardcore(well, hardcore. At least more then heroes)

Update with facts:

Dreamhack sound technicians suck.... took them 5 minutes to get sound with the intro

Technical details:
-Game runs good on old pc, on new gaming pc, easily 100+ fps.
-Minimum specs equal to BF2, needs a slightly higher-end rig for high-detail settings.

Gameplay

-Max 32 players.
-Gameplay pace closer to BFBC2 than BF2. >> 5 seconds respawn time.
-16 vehicles including Mil Mi-28 helicopter, F35 VTOL jet, Russian T-90 tank, LSV light strike vehicle
The weapon models and equipment is all from BFBC2 (super hi resolution) the classes (Recon, Medic, Engineer, Assault) are also from BFBC2, as are the factions (Russia vs the US).
- No prone at the moment. The team waits for the feedback from the players in the closed beta

Game mode

-New gamemode, capture a flag/area and hold it. Kills do not count, snipers useless in this mode (win!)

Primary: Assault rifle
Secondary: Shotgun, Pistol, Knife
Kit: Ammo supplies, smoke and hand grenades

Primary: LMG

No decision on LAN play, made by closed beta players, dedicated servers, rental available.
- Superweapons/ über weapons?
Yes, is in business model.
- Release date?
Open beta february, Closed Beta 30/11/10
- Expanding to consoles?
NO! Even on console, Microsoft/ Sony will take 30% of income. They want to focus more at the community, forums etc. If you launch the game, you need to go there first.
- Hardcore mode?
If people want it: no HUD and less health.
- Ranked/unranked servers with weapon limiters?
Maybe, possibly yes.
- Can you unlock the whole tech tree?
You need to make selections in your career, about what you want to unlock.

played it, buts very hard 4 a bfh noob...all the new stuff, no trainig lvl 2 check out all stuff and so....but i ´ve seen frank and some other guys of OG in it...lol
my character is >fouque<...tech soldier or sth like that...
but how to pick up ammo and stuff? no idea at all...very quick game, but nice...aiming is mucho differento and dificillo :wink:
