How to sleeve your power supply!!

First take you power supply apart like this!!

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08072.jpg

Mark the cables so you know where the sleeving has to end!!

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08074.jpg

Cut the cables ont the right length.

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08076.jpg

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08077.jpg

Tip here is to use a lighter to melt the end of the sleeves a tiny bit to make it easy when you have to shrink the hose!!

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08078.jpg

You need a tool to take the cable out of the plug's!!

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08095.jpg

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08097.jpg

Make sure to cut all the shrink's the same length!!! if you don't do that the sleeving will look messy!!

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08080.jpg

Or you order precut shrink's that will make the job a lot more easy!!

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08084.jpg

Before you put the sleeve over the cable make sure you tape the end!! otherwise it will destroy the sleeve when putting it on!!

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08086.jpg

And on it is!!

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08087.jpg

Hold the sleeve on the marked spot!!

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08088.jpg

Put the shrink in place and use a heatgun to shrink a lighter will give burnmarks if you warm it up a bit to long!!

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08090.jpg

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx233/kier1976/cars%2006/DSC08093.jpg

And here is the first wire done!! Make sure you only take out 1 wire @ a time. You don't wanna take them all out and don't remember where you have to put it back!!!

Why would I do this?
Also, you don't need to end each sentence with!! It's rather annoying!!!
And why is it a sticky? I don't think all our pc's will blow up or something if we don't do this.

Most newer PSU's will already come with sleaving. Sleaving makes running wires alot easier because the sleeve will slide easier through out the case. It also keeps from having wires everywhere. Here are some pics from my current computer. I bought a case that had access on the back side to hide most of my wires, but the ones that are exposed look alot better sleeved than not.

Great tutorial Caveman. I would however point out that opening your PSU like this will most likely void any warranty.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I just made this tut in a few minutes to show one of our members who is building a OG case how to do it.

It will be updated within a few day's with more pic's and a better explanation.

Why do you wanna do this? Well there are people on this planet that like to mod their case!!
And like Mighty said it is also a great way to make your cables in your case a lot more messy wich for example can improve your airfow alot.

for example:
