Sound problem

Since severals days the sounds of bf3 is fucked up .... can't hear a shit. even with audio at max headset at max and window's sounds at max it's like a whisper. And it's unplayable.
I tried some stuff like motherboard driver etc etc.

Don't know what to do :(

Is your sound in Windows okay, such as music and teamspeak?

If you like we can use a messenger program and i can help you trouble shoot the problem in real time.

actually, everything is fine with my sound but bf3, teamspeak /music in the background or anything else.

Sorry to hear that Loopi, hope you can fix the problem. Btw you can also talk here at forum chat. Only problems I have with BF 3 sound is that I dont hear enemy footsteps (only from own team).

Yeah, agreed. Crosshair missing, spawning without any guns, have to press space or numbers many times to find a gun, gun suddenly jamming while shooting etc. So hope they fix problems soon.

Hi Loopkin

At work so cant talk on messenger, will try when i get home.

Could you please try the following;

Start BF3 join a server | alt + tab to desktop | right click on the speaker icon in sys tray | click open volume mixer | you should see a separate volume control for all your applications please make sure BF3 is set to max.

Let me know if that was the issue.
