this was filmed using a 139 dollar gtx 460 USD. ﾃつ*This is the setup I used for the first few months of BF3 and works great. ﾃつ*This will help ALL CARD TYPES achieve better frames... enjoy and hope this helps ...

Doesn't really work on B2K maps... My frames are always getting cut in half playing them ﾃつ*:?

id rather have good graphics than crappy lol.

I set everything to ultra bar shadow settings.

then scaled AF from 8x to 4x. I get lows of about 45fps and an average around 60. from a 6950 2gb.

i havent downloaded the latest drivers from ATI yet but thats supposed to boost performance even more.

There is said that 12.1 drivers make bf3 crash alot on ultra settings.
also, what resolution do you run?

thats impossible on 1080p resolution. haha, i got the same card. What resolution do you run at? and AA?

I also have that card and I also have from 80 to 100 fps in 1080p ULTRA settings ﾂ*:wink:
But again I flased my card to 6970 ﾃつ*:wink:

which will give you a 5% advantage over a "regular" 6950. 80/1,05 = 76,2. So still more. I only get about 60 fps at ultra myself, with MSAA and AF on lower settings, and SSAO on. But I really don't see a difference between 60 and 100 fps, theyre both smooth to me :P

AMD: there is about 10-15% variation in the performance of 6970 and 6950
HWC: The 6970 2GB is up to 20% faster then the 6950 2GB.

Nice vid! Helped me a lot. My FPS was always about 30-35 on my GTX470, didn't know how to increase it. Now i have a solid 60 FPS on the highest resolution!

Great guide mate! I usually have everything on low / off except mesh quality, this gave me some tips on which ones i could raise a bit more :)
