I suggest you do this if you haven't. Game will be f2p (got my doubts personally) so there is NO excuse in not trying.

UPDATE:

Ok so now I've read in Gameplay magazine that EA plans to do a Free2Play for ALL C&C games.

It will be called Command & Conquer and will be Generals first, with micro-transactions mainly to buy new generals with different bonuses and to buy different soundpacks/skins for your armies.

Later they plan to add the Red Alert and Tiberium Universe to this. Basic Units / Commanders / Armies are free according to the article.
