I recently got into thunderbolt and displayport discusions with MR. Janbo.
And after some proper research i found that this technology is defenetly worth rebuilding my pc.
You wonder why? Thunderbolt and displayport both have a huge datatransfer speed. arround 10GB/s wich is huge compared to usb3.
Also thunderbolt is capable of doing 4k resolutions, 120Hz and daisy-chain connection with multiple monitors or external hdd's and so on.

So i got myself some new parts:

Asus Maximus V Forlula ThunderFX
Intel 3770k
16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum
And new watercooling stuff, tubes cooling fluid.

I7 3770k
Maximus V Formula thunder fx
16GB Corsair Dmonitaor Platinum
2x Samsung 830 128GB ssd in raid 0
2x Western Digital RE 4-GP 2TB
2x Western Digital RE3 WD5002ABYS, 500GB
1 asus Asus HD7970-DC2T-3GD5

Later this month when i have all my wc parts in last two Asus HD7970-DC2T-3GD5 Â*cards will be added in the wc loop.

Will upload some final pictures when system is complete.

btw about the WC system. is this for every graphic card ? or just the originel expensive ones o.O

No you can by almost watercooling blocks for every graphicscard on the planet.

hey cave, those SSD are they good ? or are there better ones already ? iam also looking to buy 2 x SSD.

raid is faster ? as normal righ?

if you set out to buy ssd's i would get 2 samsung ssd's they are @ the moment one of the best and have a good price.

And yes 2 ssd's in raid 0 will blow you away 8)

And what about the 10k erasing problems ? Or is that already more or fixed.
I just mean i heard the chips stop working after amount of uses
And what about programs just instal only games on Ssd and programs like origin And steam?

But are There better ones 128gb or is this the best one ATM i want to buy 2 but max 120 euro so should i go for 830 128gb or other one
Which one ?

i did some research @ Tweaker and some other forums about the good 128 /120 SSD's

i found 3 types

-Samsung 830 Pro 128GB / Sata-600/HDD Read(520MB)HDDFast(320MB) 119 (but not much shops to buy)

-Samsung 840 Pro 128GB / Sate-600/HDD Read(540MB)HDDFast(390MB) 119 (Allot of shops to buy)

-OCZ Vertex 3 120GB / Sata-600/HDD Read(550MB)HDDFast(500MB) 94.95 ( Allot of shops to buy)

So which one should you buy, iam thinking about the OCZ one it scores better and its cheaper you will lose only 8 GB.
but maybe samsung got better chips or controller i dont know how that is.

so some advice ?

I know Cave a little bit Â*... this will last for maybe 3 months Â* ..... he is running behind with the SSD's, the Samsung 840 EVO's are better and faster, so he needs those also. Â*8)

And MI-SIX, i cross my fingers when they do the waterblock-version test ... ÂÂ*:D
