Hey all,

first part is i wanna lower my V(oltage) because my amd uses 120 Watts.. that kinda Sucks. and intel should be faster only the price sucks ^^ but thats a investment so i hope you can help me out (maybe you have one for sale XD)
so i need some advice which mobo's are good for gaming/normal use also which Processor you advice.

like 1155 socket or 1150 ? ( 1150 is newer if iam right)

Really depends on your budget, first decide what you want to spend, than go from there. For a mobo I would go for a cheap one (unless you plan to overclock) so you can spend more money on a faster cpu.

Since your dutch I suggest you to check out this guide:

Get 1150 sockets
i5
and a Z87 socket motherboard.

Anything thing higher than a i5 will not give you much performance increase.
I'd personally get one of the MSI boards.

Something like this maybe: http://nl.hardware.info/productinfo/186948/msi-z87-g45-gaming
http://nl.hardware.info/productinfo/186071/intel-core-i5-4670k

That will be around 330 euros. And should give you excellent performance.
Add a good cooler and overclock the thing.

You have some spare room for a Coolermaster Hyper 412S or something in your budget so:

If you can afford top-dollar then Intel is better (top performance), right. But if you're in lower/mid range, then AMD is better value for money? Is that still valid?

btw why not the other mobo(Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 ), Â*but why MSI ?
just asking

Because
A: I like MSI their gaming boards.
B: Because the gigabyte has 16x & 4x Lanes.
So if you run Crossfire on that, it will be pretty bad since the 2nd card has such low bandwith.
C: The Gigabyte board ONLY Support Crossfire and not SLI. So you cannot run 2 nvidia cards on it.

The MSI runs 8x8x which is much much better for crossfire/sli
It also supports both Crossfire & SLI

And keep in mind
PCI 2.0 16x = same bandwith as PCI 3.0 8x.
Thats fast :)

MSI is much more of a gaming oriented board, while the Gigabyte seems to be a entry level consumer board.
I could find you more differences, because I am sure there will be more in terms of features (since MSi costs 120 and gigabyte 80) But the SLI thing should be enough reason to get the MSI board (alteast in my opinion)

If you want a gigabyte board, you can get one. But then get a different one, one that is equivalent to the MSI one.

Z87 MOBOS are good for gaming. You can get an i5 Sandy bridge and over clock the shit out of them. That will be a cheaper build then buying a Z97 with a 4th gen Processor

Gigabyte and MSI make some seriously nice boards.

The z87x OC is 200 american dollars and its good for over clocking.

The OC supports 4 way SLI and 2 way Crossfire

Listen to What burning has to say though He has some good advice about MSI boards.

But if you want to over clock don't buy MSI. Gigabyte OCing is retarded easy.
