Battlefield 4: How to play with VPN

After reading this post you will be able to play Battlefield 4 by making use of VPN at the moment
the game first launches in the USA. And you won't have to wait till the game gets released in your region.

Caveman explained to me how VPN works and its as easy as peanuts with honey.

Please note! Playing the game and thus avoiding the release date issue using VPN is o.k and not ban-able.
However, using VPN to change your location to get a cheaper price on the game IS!

How to get VPN?

Step 1.

Go to http://www.flyvpn.com/freetrial

Step 2.

Download and Install the flyVPN client.

How to set up flyVPN?

Step 1.

Login to flyVPN by using the login and password details given on this page: here (http://www.flyvpn.com/freetrial)
Please keep in mind that the login details on this page change every 20 minutes.
This means that the details on the pic below are not accurate!

Step 2.

Completely shut down your Origin Client and make sure you are 100% logged out.

Step 3.

Select a sever from flyVPN as seen on the picture below and click the big blue Connect button.

Step 4.

Start your Origin Client again and Launch Battlefield 4 (or start the pre-loading process).
Your Origin will now think its located in America.

Step 5.

Alt+Tab out of the game and click the big blue Disconnect button in flyVPN.
This will close down the crappy connection but your Origin will still believe its in the USA.
This way you will regain your own, (hopefully a lot better), internet connection.

Now just make sure to either keep your pc + origin running or just repeat this process each time your pc starts.

I must say that me, personally, have never tested the steps 4 and 5 all the way at the end.
My source here is Caveman so if this wont work in the end we can all point our fingers and blame him.
Then again, if it does work, all credits for this shit go to him.... or whatever.

If you ordered on the old origin store (before July I think), you can cancel your order then pre-order again and pre-load works fine ÂÂ*:D

If you guys think it's useful and promise not to be crappy, I could setup our own, private VPN server somewhere in US for things like this? To make sure there VPN is secure and not some password-stealing bastard.

I got the VPN set up for fly VPN.
Today at 4 PM CET, we will be able to activate.
There is however one login possible with the VPN, however after you activated it, you won't need to do it again (if you don't close Origin).

I will hand out the password then, First come, first serve!

Frank, how is activating different from getting the preload?
I mean it is all about letting Origin believe you are somewhere else for some time.

The free FlyVPN trial stated to me that you can have 3 sessions per day maximum, so I would think the trial version is also good for activating the game and the logins and corresponding passwords for trial are on the FlyVPN trial webpage ?

You only have to connect to the VPN and then start origin, to make origin believe you are in the US/Korea.
However after this you can disconnect (1 minute is all it takes).

But if everyone did it at 16:00 yesterday, we would all be screwed.
