Hi all, hereby the long awaited Gamescom 2015 topic.
It seems like hotel prices have increased, so we decided to pick a hotel just outside the city center (trust me, the Taxi far will be much cheaper that a city-center hotel). We would like to attend the press day on Wednesday 5 August, and stay until Friday. On Thursday we will attend Gamescom, and on Friday we try to plan another event (Paintball, go-cart, shopping), or the other way around. So if you're up for it, sign up below. Of course you can choose to only attend 1, 2 or 3 days.
The reason we chose for 2 nights, is because hotels for one night are either fully booked (don't accept single nights anymore), or it only costs EUR 20 more in total for 2 nights for 2 people.

What: Gamescom, Event, party at night and sleep in Cologne!
How: By car **, plane, train
How much: EUR 95 for the hotel for 2 nights *, about EUR 10 entrance

Planning:
We will visit Gamescom on Wednesday 5 August for those who can obtain a press card or wildcard. If not many people are able to get one of those, we will organise a small event on Wednesday and attend Gamescom on Thursday/Friday. At Gamescom... wander around, check out games, booth babes, laugh etc... you know the drill.
We will be more well-rested, since driving to Cologne and back on 1 day is quite exhausting.

### I've Found something interesting, a house for just EUR 123 per night, where a max of 5 and a home for EUR 112 per night for 6 people, excluding the cleaning costs of EUR 65 at the end. people can stay. This is only 2 km further away, but saves a lot for those who are interested.
